@mikefog123 yeh just tryed it out got the ils frequency thanks, but it doesn't actually guide me to the runway and land :( my luck is crap i wish sumin could just workout for once, could you help? it also says something about the ils heading so i set it cuz thats what turns the plane to line it up. is this just different with fs2002 or sumin, cuz thats what i've got..?

@GidazEFC98 Yes I had the altitude hold on to steady the aircraft and then used the approach hold switch to allow the aircrafft to descend.

Be carefull to stay below 5000ft for the ILS glideslope to engage people are asking about this quite often
-
@lukers556 You need to be lower at around 4000 ft for the ILS glideslope to engage
-
@lukers556 Did you turn the autopilot off?
im confuzed, when i was comin in to birmingham airport i started to do my ils procedure and their was lots of different frequency's and 2 different approach frequency's and it was 118.325 so i went to go and set it on the nav 1 and it only went to 117. and went back to start, i got really fustrated and confused so i thought i might ask you?? plz can you help!! ;D

@GidazEFC98 I think that the frequency 118.325 is a radio frequency and that u need to select one of the ILS or arrows on the map to give a frequency and approach that runway
