Janis Joplin Ball and Chain (with lyrics)

This is one of my favorite songs of this great, great songwriter and singer - Janis Joplin. It is from rare tracks, from "Love, Janis". Pictures used in the video were mostly googled or found some similar way... Enjoy and, eventually, if you like or dislike this video let me know why Im a bit curious to hear different opinions, Im pretty much content with this, but my own opinion cant be parameter so thats why I want to hear (actually more probable to read) some diverse opinions about the video (not the music because it is unquestionable brilliant!)

Janis Lyn Joplin (January 19, 1943 October 4, 1970) was an American singer, songwriter and music arranger. She rose to prominence in the late 1960s as the lead singer of Big Brother and the Holding Company and later as a solo artist. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Joplin number 46 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, and number 28 on its 2008 list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time. Why do people insist on cutting off the start or the end of songs? I picked this one because the starting notes were there, unlike another copy, but then I find out you cut out the end, even though it was still less than YouTube's 10-minute limit!

@60srad joplin stops singing at 8:52 so the song actually ends there, though the applause is cutted, yes, but i think i've actually had this footage as it is in video - I've ended clip where audio track ends if i recall well... yeah, but good point, i haven't even noticed that :)

After 20 years finding this version... finally found in youtube... thanks so much... And it's better than I could ever thought... 'cause the lyrics are exactly... and I never understand what she sang... I'm a brazilian guy that don't speak english...

I grew up listening to my parents music. I adore her. Goose bumps every time I hear her voice. I only think of the many more beautifully haunting art work she could have produced to this world. Janis you shall always be the Queen! Long live the Queen!
