  • How to get your self killed.

    1) wear matt black

    2) switch off head lamp

    3) ride a bike that is silent

    4) ride on UK roads.

    5) enjoy

    how to stay alive

    1) Ride a gratuitously loud, bright orange KTM with your lights on :D :D :D

still, Electric is the way forward but I wouldn't swap my everyday ride for one.

  • @Aeqelable

    agreed!

  • Tiene la FORMA DE KTM xDD

  • would love to know top speed on the dual motors and max distance at that speed. if it gets as close as its Gas counterpart where on the right track for all our vehicles becoming electric.

  • @mavizenegp how much for one that you can charge on 110v

  • @mellifluouschinook Why would you want to! An electric motor spinning at 30,000 rpm would sound awesome.

  • @chriskirza1 why doesn't anyone get that you could use downloadable sounds from your phone... your electric bike could sound like a viper, a harley, a wrx ... anything you want it to sound like

  • @stevenunez - they do. but usually regen is on the rear wheel, so theres not a significant proportion of regen that makes it that incredibly useful during race situation. Also they have to program/write the software to make the regen smooth, like when you use the brakes. Chip yates has managed to develop front wheel regen system. check his bike out.

  • Why don't these electric m/c manufacturers make regenerative brakes that actually charge the batts when braking because of braking forces that drive the motors into generators?

Also why don't they use small magnets on the wheels to actually generate electricity while running?
