When analyzing the gev2 masses of the hydrogen nucleons, the proton and neutron are almost identical in mass. When analyizing the proton and neutron geometrically, the neuton is almost identical in mass to the proton plus electron. In other words, what is u d u = d u d gev2 is equivalent to the electron+u d u + d u d geometrically.
