Kit's Graduation for Grad Cert and VC's teaching award - University of Newcastle, 9 April 2010

In 2009, I completed my Graduate Certificate in the Practice of Tertiary Teaching and also won the Vice Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence and Learning Support. And today (9 April 2010), I got to attend the Graduation Ceremony and pick up both of the certificates for these.

I really enjoyed it -- much more than I'd expected to -- and I was *so* damn nervous as the VC was reading out the citation for my award.

My mum and Garry, my step dad, were meant to attend, but Gaz broke his arm last week and they weren't able to make it -- so I post this here mainly for them as well as my friends in the UK.
