Drive them out of business? I t is much less than they deserve for what they did to my mother. If they were treated the way they treat the lives of people who have paid their premiums for years and who have done nothing more than get sick, they would not be alive. A Public option seems to be the only way to keep private insurers from killing sick americans. You can go ahead and pay them until you get sick and for a while after. Do not expect to survive.

Nuclear energy is not cheap or clean or safe. It takes 10 years to built a plant and billions of dollars before one watt of electricity is gotten. It uses enormous amounts of water, the excess hard to re-use and dispose. Refuse from nuclear plants was recently buried but only up to 1975's. I would rather see all that money developing solar, batteries, wind, hydro etc. Germany and Japan get 60%+ of their energy from the sun.

We need more Nuclear energy it's clean and safe plus we need to drill off shore that's clean and safe also and who car's about garbage car companies Ford is the only real American company left they stood up to the unions and they trimmed their budget.

Unbelievable. A lot of the bailout money has already been returned and at least a psychological disaster was averted keeping some of these too-big-to fail banks operating. NOW MOVE YOUR MONEY TO A SMALL BANK. If the car companies had gone down, we would have more unemployment. Obama is not God or Jesus and he can't fix everything, and I don't like his stance on nuclear energy, or the escalation in Afghanistan, but he is just a man.

Just in case you've been asleep for a year, OBAMA is in the ruling position, HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, and we put a new one in every 4 or 8 years. He, just like all previous presidents, is there because the majority wanted him to represent them and the rights of the people that were given to them under the Constitution. Deal with it. !!! . Some presidents do it better than others, at least this one has a semblance of a conscience, unlike the previous.
