@Asocialism1 Hmm now thats a hard one,if anything at all Id say England trying to regain its territory lost in North America,when they lost all this land they lost a lot of resources,and there for they lost a huge trading area to make them rich. English troops burned the white house down probably to demoralize U.S. troops and citizens.

@ZombieSlayer918 honestly the British weren't that bad that America made them out to be back then. America over exaggerated what Britain did. ok, now explain the war of 1812.

@Asocialism1 Claiming independence, even though britian is one of our greatest allies now, back when America was still a colony the English treated the colonists like shit, they taxed the colonists for the french indian war and made colonists house troops unwillingly,not to mention a few other things.
