  • this is what i remember about new york. Everyone doing their thing on the roof. A few buildings down theres probably some kid plucking the guitar strings looking to be the next jerry garcia or some one hitting the speed bag hoping to be mentioned in the same breath as de la hoya.

  • @deveredw LOL your comment looses instant cred when YOU CANT SPELL ASTAIRE properly

  • @mca1218 I agree. They were very good in this scene. I would love to see the modern tap dancers bring this style back!!!

  • i want to know who this song is made by so bad!

  • Une merveille !

  • to use the term female for a human woman is not polite. As it happens they both turn me on.

  • does anyone know where i can torrent this movie?

  • One of my favorite moments of the film, because it dares to challenge the cynical opinion so many have nowadays that no one will watch musical numbers on modern film. Having said that, I always hated the abrupt way they ended this sequence. They just seemed to throw it away. Gregory Hines and the little-known Suzanne Douglas were quite good here. They really could've been the "black Fred & Ginger," as is mentioned in the film.

  • yeah baby
