I Can Freeze Time, Hiro Style AFTER EFFECTS DEMO

With After Effects I created a Hiro(Heroes) style time freeze effect preventing myself from running over myself. Quality stinks due to consumer level camera, but fog effect was also added. Props to videocopilot.net, if you are into graphic design check it out.

Yeah I can't feather the layer anymore otherwise it would feather into the car. The time between driving the car past and walking the sun got covered by clouds which threw off the auto white balance.

you dont need a green screen to do this, you can easily (well, depending on your skill level) create it on after affects by filming the same area twice with seperate things happening, and then when the video is 'frozen' you mask the car so that it is the only thing showing and then it gives the illusion that the person is walking around it... there is a tutorial somewhere..

it wudve been SO funi if he accidentaly unfroze time when he's walking back past the car and it hit him

Fake!!!! The car stopped. Then it drove away! There were no effects! People can easily notice that it is fake!

and are u doing 2 clips, 1 clip of the car only, and 1 of your self?

freezing time and moving around in it is impossible, because how are you suppose to move in the air particles in frozen time, youd die.
