@nckhbrs The Twin Otter crashed on approach, not on the apron, or during take-off. He crashed into the mountain just BELOW and to the left of the runway, or at the bottom and of the runway. The video shows the top end for take-off.

I have seen a Twin Otter at departure but no crash.
So what does the video says to me ?
A Twin Otter can start nearly everywhere.

come on, please title it properly. 9NAFE still flies - I flew in it myself twice in November 09. This video shows it taking off from Lukla as per normal. It has NOTHING to do with the crash that happened there.
