Until a few weeks ago, i had never heard of you, we got a DVD, from Utility Warehouse, I sat and watch a very moving film, In pursuit of Happiness, a week or so later i am in the local library, and come across your book "Start where you are", and i start to read. that saying . . that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear,is true,A question i have been seeking the answer for is, What is the one thing that motivates people into action. with your story i finally have found that reason

Chris, it must have been eerie standing on that train seeing all those laid-off people. However, what you say is true about creating an opportunity. It worked for me. Long story short, through hard work and persistence and a little bit of luck, I created a job for myself, survived 2 layoffs and have been employed with the same co. for 10 years now. So, what you say is absolutely true.

to start a business or to start a new venture it takes capital. the ol' saying it takes money to make money. all the skills and knowledge you have is great but if your in a field where a great percentage are being laid off then you are screwed. the only thing to do is to get educated in an in-demand stable field like law, medical, or education.
