  • how often do you need to replace the clutch?

  • @crazydriver1978 Well, i haven't! Since my gear ratio is perfect, the clutch doesn't wear out. or not much.

This has a good clutch, some chainsaws has an aluminum ones, and they are crap!

  • @Ankeladden

I own scads of saws, and doubt any saws use any aluminum clutch components

  • @rbtree I had a chainsaw that used an aluminum clutch. i tried to make an mtorbike, but the clutch just faded to shavings....

  • What was the overall Gear Ratio from input to output?

  • @dethtotheking 12-1, witch means 16-36 * 8-48 :)

  • wat the stuff do more of these. Mn awsome vid but in the tutorial make it real detailed

  • pro's you go fast

cons you sound like your cutting down tree when u ride

  • ok you should make a how to video these a boat load of videos for friction driven chain saw bikes but no how to videos for chain driven

  • thats really cool!

  • nice seat... ouch

  • Very nice. I've seen a couple other similar bikes. There's another one, also using Dolmar power, but 24, yes, count 'em 24...and they are each 79 cc Dolmar 7900's....the Dolmette

Just search for it, youtube doesn't allow me to link to it.

    I own several Dolmar's, including 3 7900's, great saws.

  • Great work, and in two days! Wow. You must have a great place to find junk parts. It sounds as thought the ratio should still be higher. Your neighbors must cringe every time that thing starts :(.
