I forgot how funny Paul Lynde was! I remember once they asked him, "Paul where is your uvula?"
and he says, "at a bus stop in Guatamala".....really funny guy!

@studio21tv Comedians can't be that funny anymore because they can get away with so much more, thus they don't have to think as much in order to get around the you-can't-say-that-on-TV rules (written and otherwise).

I knew as a kid that there was something odd about him, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I also thought that about another notable 1970s game-show panelist, Charles Nelson Reilly. It was a few more years before I found out they were both gay.
