Back Home Again in Indiana - Riverside City Band with Erik "Krølle" Andersen
The Danish Dixieland jazz band - Riverside City Band -- is playing the tune - Back Home Again in Indiana composed by Ballard MacDonald and James F. Handy and was recorded by Original Dixieland Jazz Band in 1917. For years, Louis Armstrong and his All Stars would open each public performance with that number.
This video recording was done by Henny Johansen at the restaurant ferry "GrønSund" under the Harbour Jazz Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark - September 2008.

Peter "Laffe" Christensen, trumpet -- Knud Schwaner, trombone - Erland Larsen, alto & soprano sax/leader -- Tom Nissen, banjo/vocal -- Povl Erik Philipsen, double bass and Per Andersson, drums. As soloist we have the Danish clarinettist Erik "Krølle" Andersen from the Papa Bue's Viking Jazz Band.
Riverside City Jazz Band is a well established professional jazz band and the members are musicians with a lot of experience playing jazz. The band plays traditional New Orleans and Dixieland jazz.
Riverside City Jazz Band is situated in Odense, Denmark and was founded in 1978.
