A short video featuring a 1955 film newsreel clip for the premier of To Hell and Back, a movie featuring the life of, and starring Audie Murphy, the most decorated combat soldier of World War II. Far too many times the word 'hero' gets tossed around these days. For those who are not aware of what this man did for his fellow soldiers and country, I recommend these sites:
Official Audie L. Murphy Memorial Web Site

The Audie Murphy Story

Audie Leon Murphy - American Hero
http://www.davidstuff.com/usa/murphy.htm
Discover more about this truly great American, his sacrifices and accomplishments. Then you will know the real meaning of hero. But if you were to ask them, Mr. Murphy, and any other service person that has received any decoration would humbly tell you that the real heroes were the ones that didn't make it back.
If I could find enough footage/photos of Sgt Alvin York (WWI Hero), I'd do one on him.
