Lloyd is so stacked that he does negative damage to a slime not once, but twice! The only way I could get him to deal that much damage was to get his Strength to 3000, use a maxed out Nebilim, Rising Falcon (which becomes Rising Phoenix because of my attack attribute of fire) at 999 uses, Garnet to get an attack attribute of fire, cooking Paella before battle, and using a Flare Bottle and Flanoir Potion, and an Attack Ring. Even then, only some of the critical hits go negative.

  • Limit is set at 5000 kills. Attack max is 3000.

    Stuff like Holy Song, cooking, Flare Bottles will increase it.(Using a Flare Bottle and a Flanoir Potion doesn't stack, by the way)

    Using it over 250 times will max out Rising Phoenix's power. Rising Phoenix has a multiplier of 3.3. Enemy's weak to fire, defense is super-low, and a critical hit. There's also a random multiplier.

    All these counted for, the max damage before overflow is 65534/2 = 32767. Max output is roughly 54000, so about -21233.

  • Or he stacked the crap out of Lloyd with items and killed crap loads of enemies and had Nebelium and has 10x exp to level faster...

  • I had this too when i cheated kratos with 1999 Int and used Holy judgment at a sworddancer id did over -100000 dmg

  • the gc version of tos is kinda messed up...

    try presea with maxed out atk / diablo ...

    if you are alone in your party normal hits can do negative dmg xD

  • keep getting those negatives to get a slime snail thing to like really high hp o.o

  • Are you sure about the max damage? I believe I've seen Unison Attacks output more than 32767 damage, but they might be a special case.

  • Guess they used a 16-bit signed number for the damage... max positive damage would be 32767.
