Hardly corny. This show, which was around at the birth of TV, was full of humor and humanity, such that as many adults watched it as kids. Burr Tillstrom was a genius who did this show extemporaneously and did all the voices. Fran Alison played off of his characters. We all loved her. He was the inspiration for Jim Henson. This show is still a pleasure to watch.

To their credit, Kukla, Farn and Ollie did these commercials with undisguised tongue in cheek. Almost with sweetly smiling sarcasm. Their shows were full of hilarious puns, satire and double-meanings that had adult audiences as captivated as the kids.
