Residential Education in Lathrup Village, MI

As part of its in-kind contribution for its EECBG allocation from the State Bureau of Energy Systems, the City of Lathrup Village, in partnership with the Southeast Michigan Regional Energy Office, offered a free workshop opportunity to residents of the city. Attendees learned simple techniques they can use to save energy and money in their homes including:
Finding and sealing air leaks
Turning off lights and appliances that aren't being used
Switching to CFL bulbs
Dialing down the thermostat
Getting the whole household involved
Reading a utility bill
