  • Arne Duncan reminds me of a used car salesman, and has about as much credibility...

  • I taught for 33 years (eleven times as long as Arne Duncan). Standardized testing has been a complete failure. In Ohio, the social studies test thought it was a "basic" to know the definition of "mercantilism." I had 14 veterans talk to all the students in our school one day, including an F-16 pilot from the First Gulf War and a Pearl Harbor survivor.

That wouldn't even show up on a standardized test....crazy, crazy, crazy.

  • FOUR RESPONSES TO THIS VID POST...NOW THAT IS TRULY SAD...THE AVERAGE PERSON SIMPLY JUST DOESNT CARE...WHICH IS WHY POLITICAL AGENDAS LIKE PRIVATIZING SCHOOL SYSTEMS AND PRISONS CAN SLIPPED THROUGH UNDER THE RADAR. Diane is trying her best to inform the public about the misguidance of the presidents direction on educational reform. Politicians simply do not want to connect the dots when it comes to these systemic societal problems like those that manifest in the educational and prison systems.

  • Finally a voice of reason in this mess.

  • Great interview.
