@HorseLoverInParis sometimes a helmet could get in the way for vaulting, such as doing handstands, and team events resulting in a neck injury. She's wearing ballet slippers. Sneakers/boots could hurt the horse. The heels could dig into the horses back if she stands up.
i love vaultage. i do it sometimes. fell off doing canter backwards. I love doing the scissors. Really fun. Good job, but try to be like an elastic band, stretching, but tightening your stomach muscels.
vaulting is more like gymnastics than riding and gymnasts don't wear shoes and helmets

i wana try! but i agree with KickArs645 i would do this once a week, dressage once a week, and then jumping!
