An exclusive interview with Vanessa Farquharson, journalist at the National Post, as she talks about her new book, "Sleeping Naked is Green" and guides us on a tour of her eco-friendly home and its many green contraptions.
Some ideas are good, though if we all become fanatics on that, we will bring ourselves back to the beginning. Of course it's better for the nature if we sleep in caves, are covered in leaves and spend all day hunting, duuh
Really funny ideas. Especially unplugging the fridge but still using a dryer. That would be easy to replace and saves HUGE amounts of energy. Not sure if you still can find love without a dryer though ;-)
how about not using a dryer and letting your close dry on a line, and hand washing your close. If you just stop using your washer and dryer, the energy you would save would trump all the 366 things you did. Reusing chopsticks, watering your plants with dish water? cmon. Also just so people know, with AC the energy produced is on the grid, even if you use less of it, they still produce the same amount. The change has to come from the companies that create energy.
I loved following your blog during your green year, and I'm super excited about your book! I still need to pick up a copy. It was great to put a face and voice to your words!
I've been sleeping naked since I was 14.
