  • Hey Mikey will a spektrum DX5e and a AR500 reciever work with the heli? any kind of settings have to be done to it? Im kinda of a newbie to the electronics.

  • @x1shadowz1x No that TX can't do 6 channel helis.

  • Hey Mikey! Love the videos! They are all SUPER helpful.

I do have a question though - I'm confused why @5:00 you want us to have the throttle adjustment all the way down? It makes it seem like things will jam up if I ever set that to the middle again...

    Thanks, again.

  • @gwelch76 It's because in NON-3D mode or "hover" mode at 0 throttle the servo horns should be just about perfectly level so that there is 0 pitch on the blades.

  • Hey, when you first turn on the servos to find their center point, do you set the transmitter's throttle to the lowest setting, (blade pitch 0) on normal mode?

  • @helicub81 Yes...but also remember that your swash AFR settings and servo sub trim also comes into play too when trying to find the center.

  • hello im new to all this ive come to a full stop can any one help. im trying to set up the 3d switch but unsure how on the turnigy 9x any info would bee greatfull. thanks in advance

  • dont know where I would be without your tutorials even though my trex clone is full metal with carbon frame the basics are the same like fitting the servos(did not need to take all screws out though i just undid them to get some give in the frame) the only servo giving me some problems at the moment is the tail servo he is a tricky fellow to get right :o) Many thanks !!!

  • @MikeysRC I just got a FS-CT6B from xheli and I wondering how you figured out which channel is aileron, "pitch" and elevator? Is it that left and right on the right-hand stick only move two channels? Also why did Align call it "pitch", why not left and right, for intstance?

  • Thanks for the videos...they are very helpful!
