  • @Hardeen31 Oh sure, a lot of what Gilbert was booking and working with at this time was heavily inspired by his years in Memphis and its history. What made it so great was how well it integrated into the Mid-South style seemlesly.

  • I bet Eddie Gilbert Got this iangle from Memphis when Lawler and Dundee got into a concession stand fight with Honkytonk Man and one of the Moondogs

  • i remember watching this match on TV UWF was the best-

  • So I know that UWF and JCP had merged at this point, but this is a UWF match. What's Magnum doing in the broadcast booth?

  • You don't get too many melees like this today.

  • RIP. "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert.

  • This was a barnburner all over tthe place!!!

  • @bilskie1 actually wise ass sometimes they bleed for real, they aren't all blade job's sometimes they do get busted hardway legit!

  • @johngeise33 Taylor should have been a bigger star. He had the looks as well as the wrestling ability. Unfortunately, after Crockett bought the UWF he was one of the guys that got buried as a result. Of course, the thing that really destroyed him was the "Red Rooster" gimmick that WWE saddled him with.

  • @Sargebri wow ya think!? Great eye there! For a moment I thought they bled for REAL. LOL!!
