This movie of life in Wake Forest was made by itinerant filmmaker H. Lee Waters.

Waters was known for visiting towns, cobbling together a feature length film, and showing it at the local movie house for profit. He came to Wake Forest in 1939, leaving behind this rare glimpse of daily life during the Great Depression.
