This is a Multiple Percussion solo written by Terry Longshore of Southern Oregon University. I played it at my district solo competition in March. It calls for a pair of chinese crash cymbals, a hihat, and a pair of jing cymbals on a hihat stand. The first section mostly explores the different independent sounds of each cymbal, and then the rest of the piece explores the use of the cymbals in different styles. The coolest section is the middle, where there is a 3 on 4 on 5 pattern in the left foot, right foot, and crash cymbals.
Constructive criticism is welcome. Please excuse the part where I pull the hihat back! It was sliding.
Enjoy!
Loved it, totally want to learn it. =) SOU Percussion is awesome!

Okay, so the beginning killed my knees!!! I got bruises for weeks every time I played it. Did you wear knee pads or anything??

Terry did a clinic for us at Fresno State in which he played this piece. Watching him perform is incredible.
