my hair has the same colour but it isn't nearly as long as yours. have you got some tricks to get long AND healthy hair? what shampoo are you using? greets from germany :)

a 5-strand-braid is actually manageable ^^
when you got the technique to manage the strands with your fingers, it is quite easy, it worked for me at the first try and if I can do it, certainly everyone can xD

What kind of elastics do you use? Whenever I try to use standard Goody fabric-covered ouchless elastics for ponytails, they snap at the connection. They look alot like what you're using, but maybe yours are different. I'm planning to do this hair style tonight by the way :)

That's what I use. Mine snap too after several uses. I go through a lot of hair ties. I started going to the dollar store to get them so it won't cost me as much. :o)

Looks pretty on you! I just can't do those ponytail braids since it's just too tight and the weight pulls too much..plus my length. You may find out when you get to knees so enjoy these styles B4 it gets longer! Nice Demo :)

I hear you. Even now, I usually only wear it half the day, then I have to take it down. This one's not so bad as half of it's already bunned, so it doesn't make my head hurt nearly as early as when it's just straight up pony-braided. I'm so willing to lose this hairstyle if my hair will look like yours once (if) it gets that long!
