  • When he recited the pledge at the end he did not say under God?

  • @rxantos If you seriously believe we currently live in a democracy, I think it's time for you to give up on life. And if you ever have to bring up Hitler - an anti-democratic fascist - to prove a point, 9 times out of 10 you're wrong.

  • @michaelwuzthere

Hitfler was elected by a landslide in a democracy.

Facism is when corporations utilizes government to control the individual. Thereof we live in a fascist, but democratic state.

A democracy have one fatal flaw.

The vote of a fool and has the same weight as the vote of the informed. The vote of a coward, the same weight as the vote of the brave.

Thus, the need to a constitution to bind government in chains. So that fools and cowards do not rule.

  • Great video, thanks for the upload.

  • SO DAMN INSPIRING. why can't my teachers be this awesome, mine are just sheep told what to do by the government for their agenda created through corporate lobbying and the corporate owned media. The government needs to stay out of our personal business. This socialist neo-conservative oligarchy must fall. We need to restore the REPUBLIC, A GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE. RON PAUL 2012

  • @MrMrbobblehead Democracy, by definition, is majority rule. Voting is a rather efficient method of tallying the majorities opinion. I think what you mean is voting isn't democratic/majority rule when it's republic in nature. Fortunately, ours is a hybrid of both a republic and a democracy. If we fall, it is because we choose to allow it.

  • @rick7p Depends. The minority wanted to give personhood to corporations and to equate money with speech. The minority got its way. The minority once thought voting wasn't just for white males, and the minority got its way. Things shouldn't be endorsed based upon how many people endorse it. A good thing will stand on its own merit, even if it stands alone.

  • Yes, the US is supposed to be a Constitutional or Representative Republic, I've heard both as accurate definitions of our form of government. However, what we have become is probably best defined as a socialist/communist oligarchy. And we wonder why we're failing?

  • should the majority change due to the minority?

  • and bias as hell
