Equine Chiropractic prodedure for the ribs. Presented by Dr. Daniel Kamen, D.C. author of The Well Adjusted Horse. Note: Ribs in a horse do NOT misalign. There is no such thing as a 'rib out' in a horse. Any practitioner who tells you that is either dishonest or ignorant. The reason: The rib joints in the horse's back are too deep to palpate and therefore cannot be adjusted. And even if you could feel the rib joints, there is virtually no movement there or enough to make a difference with an adjustment. Work the rib spasms out by hand using pressure point or massage therapy.
