Houston Gilbert & Sullivan Society's 2007 performance of Ruddygore. This clip features the Mens' Chorus and Keir Murray as Sir Roderic. Alistair Donkin is Robin Oakapple.
This is absolutely superb. You have obviously put a lot of resources into this, and that's paid off handsomely. It would be worth a trip to Houston to see work of this quality live.
Ken Robertson-Scott. This is genious and absolutely beautiful...Were the portraits silk screened on to the scrims? Did you use sharktooth scrims? I just love this...it's by far my favorite Ruddigore I've seen...Bravo!! Where can I purchase a DVD of this production?
Nobody stood still during last act we used scrims for the portraits and they only stood still on the bleed Ken Robertson-Scott. Lighting Designer and SM

Outstanding performance - and the orchestra is great. So, nice to hear an excellent chorus supported by a fine orchestra!

Wow. I really think this is the most fantastic scene. World class quality.

Was it hard to sing with the fog rolling in like that? That stuff usually makes me cough even when I'm just in the audience!

My favorite song in Ruddigore. His voice is beautiful.
