@xenoranger79 it is a king snake like the guy says in the video, you can kindof tell by the tail shaking imitating a rattler but without the rattle. it is harmless, and even if it did bite the cat the cat would be stupid to mess with it again. but putting the snake in that position, the person is more likely to get bit by the nervous snake

@sega369 We had let our snake out to explore the room, rather than keep it in its cage 100% of the time. The cat came over to investigate. It's true we could have locked the cat up while the snake exercised. But we did not "pit them against each other". In case anyone asks.
