Riley Hospital Virtual Tour of the Burn Unit

Riley Hospital has the only pediatric burn unit in the state. Special tubs, like this one, are for wound hydrotherapy treatments. Children sit in the tub to have their burn wounds carefully cleaned, which helps their skin begin to heal. Brightly painted walls make the tub rooms more child-friendly. Likewise, since many of these kids are confined to Riley's Burn Unit for long periods of time, a large picture window overlooks the atrium and keeps patients connected to what's going on around them.

i was there in april of 1998 and the nurses and docters were wonderful to me. if it wasn't for them i would have lost my right. they worked hard so that i could keep it and use it. I just want to say thank you for eveything you did for me. this year it would be 14 years since i got burnt. I am married to a wonderful man that helps me get lotion on my back when i need it. I was burnt 20% of my right side of my body. THANK YOU for everything you have done for me.
