Joe Horn Shoots Two Burglars

Okay so the guy with the gun,Joe Horn, notices two guys robbing his neighbors house next door who he dosent know to well. he calls 911 to try and get the police over before they get away. BUT Joe kinda of loses control and he walks out of his house and one of the robbers turns and starts to walk towards him. Joe yells " Move..Your Dead!" and the man turns and runs and Joe shoots him in the back, possibly twice, and then fires either one or two shots at the one running away. In total 3 shots were fired. Joe goes back in the house and calls the police again. He goes outside to flag them down and he is taken to the ground and asked where the gun was...Both robbers were killed with three shots fired. Joe was cleared by a grand jury. Share your opinion on this and tell us why you thought it was right or wrong. Thanks for watching.

However, it was on the record that the two men did in fact cross onto Horns land. Clearly these men who just committed burglary posed a threat to Horn in his own mind. That is perfectly legal according to the law allowing for the castle doctrine, and self defense.

Lets throw out race, it doesn't matter for this situation. Self Defense is the defense of ones self or the third person self. You or someone else is in danger. The Castle Doctrine exists to protect your self in your own house. If the neighbors house was empty, and the two suspects were not threatening Horn, he was in the wrong for killing the two men.

So, the rest of the story. Both illegals from Columbia, here with false Puerto Rican documentation, both members of a Columbian gang, both sought by various law enforcement agencies, both part of an organized burglary gang, BOTH DEAD by citizen.

@chasinwaterfalls yes there was CLEARLY malicious intent, he witnessed a burglary taking place...there is no question that they were doing anything else, and they left the house with a bag of loot after breaking a window to enter....under the law you may use lethal force to prevent a violent felony, burglary included......he did the right thing, and only after they charged at him and he ordered them to stop, once again , CLEARLY ON TAPE....
