Our Town Act 3 Monologue

I played the Stage Manager in Peacock Player's production of Our Town. This was one of my monologues (there were tons of them, haha) and, by far, one of my favorite ones. :)

we are doing this exact same play, only we split the stage manager into the 3 acts and i have the privelage of doing act 3. you did it fantastic, only you're a bit more calm then i am in my performance. but thank you for posting it! it gave me lots of ideas :)

@charlottekane123 Thanks! All of my monologues in the show were like this, including some small character parts that I played as well. AND it was a three-act show. So much work but it was really fun!

Great, you're very talented!! It sounded like you were you trying to do a New Hampshire accent?

@delaserdudeXD Thank you! And no, I actually wasn't. I guess that's just the speaking voice that I felt the character needed. Everyone else in the show attempted an accent, but the Stage Manager is kind of timeless and it didn't seem necessary.

@anotherxlullaby I loved doing this monologue, and I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job with it! :) I was more calm in this one than I was in the other two acts, because I felt that the setting and mood called for it (with it being a cemetery) and I thought the audience needed time to adjust to the fact that many of the characters they've been watching are now dead.
