Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Access to Learning Award: Arid Lands Information Network

The Arid Lands Information Network, which operates 12 Maarifa, or Knowledge, Centers in remote areas of Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, won the 2011 Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Access to Learning Award.
