There are probably many elements that could improve this game or make a sequel much better, but the thing that I would prefer over anything else is the option to pause the game mid/action, select individual characters, and cue up certain actions, and then unpause it to watch it happen. Not everyone is able to think and move as fast as others, and selecting characters that are bunched up together is really difficult sometimes, and can mean the difference between life and death. This would help.

I agree with you. I don't care which game came first, but Battleheart is a much more fun game to play. Everything about it feels much more polished. After seeing HvM, I can clearly see why Battleheart would actually cost money, while HvM is free. Battleheart doesn't require to buy anything else after you get the game. You get it complete, as is. I've always preferred that business model over games that require you to pay for in game items that give you better advantages.

are you kidding? Heroes vs Monsters came out after Battleheart and is a complete rip-off of it. the fact that it is free means that the difficulty increases exponentially so that you are required to buy gold with IRL money in order to continue playing. Battleheart is extremely more in depth and diverse. the talents you choose in the academy actually matter (unlike in H v M). Battleheart is simply a higher quality game with a clearly higher production value.

I recommend heroes VS monsters more. Though it's not as flashy and story driven like battleheart, it shows more customization to characters, and more unique loot.
