That is very, very cool! Makes me want to attempt to build one... lol If you have the glass off, is the playfield easily removed? I would be interested in how the playfield was shaped. Is it a solid board that has been dished out, or has it been steamed and pressed into a bowl shape (in order to get the ball to gravitate to the center)?

When disassembling the game, the glass is the last thing to come off. You have to first remove the top half of the cabinet, flip it upside down then start unscrewing the boards. The glass and surrounding frame is all that will be left. The playfield looks like it was steamed and pressed, not dished out.
