Ahhhh, sweet memories. Especially when the Godfather of Modern Rock in Philly took a chance on a dorky, mullet-wearing Q102 castoff to run the boards. We'll just forget the Blizzard of 93 and the double shot Acme spot! Yes, "I love that JOW-DAY" has become a staple of life in the 90's (only to be resurrected by a jabroni internet radio show about radio, but I digress). Mel, thanks for letting me be part of it all! -Rockin Rob

I can remember finding this channel by accident one night and I was hooked for about a week and then they were gone. Replaced by some jazz station. I think that was 1998 or so

If The REAL Story of WDRE is ever written....and I may still write it......as good as it was, it could be been Special. But Greed got in the way.

There can only ever be ONE WDRE and this isn't it.

Malibu Sue, hint hint.
