The group The Rising Sons was formed in Pietermaritzburg in 1966, the original line up being Rod Keilly (lead vocals), Andy White (bass), Gerard Hawes (keyboards, harmonica, guitar), Malcolm Watson (lead guitar), Dave Campbell (drums). How Do You Do reached #4 on Springbok's Top 20 in may 1972 and spent 15 weeks on the charts.

  • The Rising Sons played at my 21st birthday at the Rotunda in Camps Bay in 1971. This brings back memories.
