Lantana is classified a weed in 50 countries and in Australia one of the twenty worst. It agressively invades rich soils in open forest, disturbed rainforest and along creeklines creating dense shade and heavy leaf litter. Lantana can scramble to a height of 3-4m. It forms dense thickets with sprawling stems rooting where they touch the ground. Here Marita Macrae shows how to deal with it effectively and thoroughly.
