Acts 2: 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42: And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Acts:10:47: Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48: And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Then Paul.

Acts:16:31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32: And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33: And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
34: And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

  • great video :)

i have never seen a beach baptism before

  • Thanks for your kindness in offering an encouraging word to a brother Stephen.

The river, is just down the street from where I live.

  • river ???

that looks just like the beaches we have in England, just with bigger waves than ours !!!

  • It is called the Saint Mary' river, and it is on the north west peninsula of Lake Huron, and then moves north west, and eventually merges into Lake Superior, the biggest fresh water lake in the world, and with Lake Michigan.

Where we are, is where Lake Huron, and the saint Marys river merge right at the mouth.

  • Wonderful to be able to see this baptism. Thank you, Tim, for your clear explanation of what baptism really is.

    God bless you and Sue.

  • Thanks for visiting our site Dale. It's always such an encouragement to see believers step out in the faith, and be baptized after the fact.
