Classic King Crimson ballad sung by Greg Lake. I did an arrangement just Bass & Vocals adding some light cymbals and drums touches. This "Live" Video is taken from my last Tour with my Prog. Project "Emerson, Lake & Palmer Tribute". Official Site: http://www.elptributeproject.com/

  • Good attempt at a great, old Crimso song - but where is the mellotron? - JohnGLewis1964

  • Hey, John, thank's for your good words! Infact this is my humble attempt to original King Crimson ballad, trying to recreate the atmosphere of that song just with my Bass & Voice...using a Chorus rotatory effect on my Bass and looping some chords played by the mellotron on the original record...Peace! JacoMauro-Lake

  • And how about the loop? What pedal are you using?

  • Hi, I'm using a AKAI Head Rush II looper! :-)

  • what bass r u using?

  • Hi back, I'm using a 70's Fender Jazz made in USA same limited edition (3 bolt on neck) as Marcus Miller owns, with active Sadowsky Pre-amp on board and Badass bridge... :-)

  • For a 60's band this band was incredible. It kept me alive in Vietnam.

  • Hey man, I really like this video. Is that an SWR Goliath behind you? I wanted to ask though, have you considered re-recording this will a little higher quality audio and video?

  • @JacoMauro Thank you. I did like the beautiful echo effect you gentlemen produced... and your accent came through, which was nice! A lot of Crimso work being done these days!! Is there any prospect of a follow-up album to the first "In the Court of the Crimson King", by the way? Thanks very much, again. All the best.

  • Lovely rendering of the song!

  • Thank You!

  • Could you tab this down for me?? :P

  • Lovely Mauro, Steve T.

  • sounds great

  • I inherited 'In The Court.." with several other LPS and this was a fave. Anyone ever heard the early 90s dancefloor cover of this song by Opus III? Not shabby. Nice Jaco!
