The Hunt for Gollum Trailer..

** THIS IS A FANMADE TEASER TRAILER.. PLEASE READ!!**

Our friend Chris Bouchard made us aware of the trailer for the fan made film The Hunt for Gollum, which will go live online in full on May 3rd.. The official site for the film tells us the story, which is entirely independent of anything relating to Peter Jacksons Lord of the Rings or the upcoming Hobbit films, follows the Heir of Isildur; the greatest huntsman and traveler in Middle Earth as he sets out to find the creature Gollum.. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer..

The 40 - minute film will be made available for free to download online and was made on a small £3000 budget, youd never know it judging from the trailer below which makes it look like it cost a hell of a lot more..

....Wow. Not following LOTR canon exactly, but then I gather that's not the point. However, the filming, the costimes, and even the casting... magnificent. Amazing!!! For a fan made film... oh my gosh.
