I am a part of the ICOC (to the extent that they follow Christ, who is where I store my treasure). I have close ties with ICOC churches in Boston, Hampton Roads, Philadelphia, New York, Tampa, India, Dominican Republic. There's no abuse going on. I think the Kip thing is interesting. Nobody endorses abuse and narcissism.. But one curious trait of narcissists is that they frequently do great things. Most world leaders. This is human nature and it is why we need Christ. Hey - we're still standing!

Just wondering - did your friends end up divorced, in jail, institutionalized, broke, dead, or what? How did he destroy them?

I heard the rumor of off shore accounts, but sorry I have to be the one to tell you,-there were no offshore accounts, for anyone, the land for the youth camp was sold-the money returned. Like I said before, he lives a normal middleclass life, preaching in his new church. It's what he likes to do. I agree a soul transplant is in order. We need to renew our souls daily.

Kip never did anything to me directly, however many of my friends lives were destroyed by his malice. Talk to him? So that he can tell me what a great guy he is? The only thing that will change Kip is a soul transplant, I don't think there's any doctor that can perform that. Of course he hides his wealth, there were many offshore bank accounts created for him and his "court".

Of course I don't believe in Dionysus, but you do though your "Lord and Savior" Jesus Christ. You see Dionysus would make wine from water, was born of a virgin, and other co-incidental attributes. hmm very interesting indeed. I don't attend any "church" they are all ready to suck your blood one way or another. Interestingly there are over 35,000 sub-divisions of "Christianity". We need to know who did the canonization, so that we can know why they did the canoniztion

It's not about WHO did the canonization, it's about HOW they did the canonization. The method is what is important.

I am from NYC, but left early on. We have a brother here, Jodi Williams, who said they were over zealous there to the point of embarrassing people if they didn't bring guests or share for certain amount of time each day. All of that has changed, except that Jesus is still Lord.

Kip has started another movement and devotes all his time to that. If he took money from ICOC he hides it well. Him and his wife and kids live no better than any middle class American family.

It sounds like you were hurt really bad. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Whatever Kip said to you or did to you, I am sure it was not deliberate. I think it would help if the two of you talked, and you let him know how much his words or actions hurt you. It wold help him make the changes he needs.

I'm not calling you a liar or stupid, but Mr Kip is so terribly sly that snakes look holy. He may not be on the books, but he for sure is not jumping off the boat that he put together.
