Ubuntu 6.10 with XGL & Kiba-Dock

After some modifications, here's a video of my Ubuntu 6.10 desktop with Beryl XGL and Kiba-Dock. The music is the Main Theme from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

hey its neat. Can you play warcraft on it? Also, apart from all those snazzy effects what actual useful things can you do with it?

You can run a search on Ubuntu forums (there are pre-packaged debs as well as guides on how to compile from source if you prefer it that way). Note that the physics engine (akamaru) has long since been discontinued (and you'd have to run older builds of Kiba-dock to use it) and Kiba-Dock development as a whole has been halted for quite a while now. Currently Cairo-Dock is probably the most functional for Linux
