How do you do well as a medic? Focus on your team rather than on any individual player. Try to keep everyone alive as long as possible!
These tactics have consistently worked well for me.

simply shoot suspicious people with the blutsauger, or make sure you run into them before healing, and if you're healing someone and they aren't shooting when enemies are nearby, switch targets, they aren't doing their "job" anyway.

I really do like the choice of music. Tf2 was meant to have the 30's feel. not any of today's stupid dubstep crap

NO, you don't gain ubercharge quicker if a demo or soldier hurts themself during set up time... it doesn't work during set up time

I get that the advice given here is good, but this video is still just so funny.
Also, healing everybody doesn't get you assists. But it does get you points via healing - pick your poison.

the syringe gun is a pretty good defensive weapon. what you'd want to do is retreat and fire twords them running at you. it creates this huge wall of death for them.

the syringe gun is actually really powerful, the problem is is that the bullets (needles) fall unlike normal bullets, making it harder to hit people. I have been charged by scouts and demomen with full health and killed them after just a second or two under my gun.

What about dodging? Standing still and just walking around without crouching and jumping is just as well as staying out in the open.

i usually heal heavy most of the times.But this works too.

No, it wasn't a joke. The playing is shitty and was recorded in haste, but most of the tips are sound, still work today, and still get me a lot of points. Heal everybody. It's good.
