This is actually Proserpina. The contractors made it clear that you were going to be conducting guerilla-style raids in this campaign. Also, if you followed COMSTAR News, it will tell you that the Draconis Combine accused the FedCom for financing the Free Proserpina Mutineers who are rebelling against the Combine on that world. So the FedCom give you this contract for "New Ivaarsen", whereas in fact you were shipped off to help the Mutineers.

is this modded version of Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries? coz i have the DOS/WIN95 TT editions and they dont have Enhanced imageing

I added a line in the config file to add image enhancement. They programmed it into the game, but it wasn't fully operational so they disabled it by default.

No dynamic salvage on the DOS version :(

That means the salvage is fixed so that a certain mission will either never ever give you salvage, or will always give you salvage, no matter what. Sucky, I know =(

Jenner + circle straife = win, that's how I used a jenner for almost all of MW2: Mercs on hard, it was such a good mech with a jumpjets, bunch of heat sinks and 4 medium lasers.
