Up till this point we'd only seen her wearing that god-awful robe thing with bagels for hair. This really spiced things up for the audience though when she appeared in this metalized bikini outfit :)

Too bad. You didn't put in the part from the original 1983 version where she kills Jabba, then goes up the stairs looking all pale and white, then when she gets to the top of the stairs, SHE'S ALL TAN AND BROWN!

After Star Wars and Empire, they really needed something to make Return special and I think this is the scene we all remember best. We always thought Leia was hot before, but this really sealed the deal for all the dudes out there.
