I had another thought about Bruce Dern running into the ocean, I may be totally wrong but I took it that he was going in to "cleanse" himself and wash away all the memories and deeds of what he did and saw over there

Tim ends this tear jerking beautiful piece of music with a simple,"Thank you very much." A person listens to this and he can't help but to believe in god. Tim was not of this world.

I will never ever forget the lyrics of this song that go over and over in my mind almost every day. It is my fondest and most sincere hope that she will remember me and those 4 months of what heaven must be like back back in 1970.

he had such a great way of conveying emotions, loss, pain, hope, loneliness, his expression is timeless. we can only be grateful of having the pleasure of knowing his tunes.
