  • Great work.

  • Well I don't want that. I'll back down this time "DrArchieWithers". But I'll get you next time! And your little dog too.

  • OK, Hendricks (if that's your REAL name), what's your problem? I don't go around posting scurrilous and derogatory comments on your web postings . . . Of course, I could always start.

  • This guy is full of crap. Total crap.

  • Committee saved the best testimony for last -

Mr. Eiswerth makes intelligent points - his Position clearly articulated the need to protect the mission of pub radio on the web and limit excessive fees that would risk access to internet music and more. Yes, I am an NPR supporter - but I also agree with some of Random Paths - "most small webcasters are in effect public broadcasters." Get this guy to rep for all the internet broadcasters and you'll have a clear voice on the Hill for internet radio.

  • i love this man.

  • Most small webcasters are, in effect, public broadcasters, in that they are non-profit and many represent their local communities and niche genres. I wish he had, in all his statements, included all of Internet Radio. The government has no business controlling the Internet, and this is the first step.

  • Excellent - and I think he does cast a wide umbrella. Granted he is the NPR rep - but he does a great job in recognizing that internet radio is for all - like the library, etc. The standard for public radio music and educational tools for teachers, etc. on the internet should be applied to all. I hope what congress chooses to do for pub radio music broadcasts will eliminate fees and set the standard for all internet royalty decisions. He sure sounds passionate at the end.

  • Richard does a great job, however, you can easily see he is only out for the interest of NPR stations. He keeps pleading for Public Radio Stations to be spared, yet other pro web broadcasting speakers are for all Internet Broadcasters. Kind of being a diode, should spread the protective umbrella to his fellow NetRadio players.

  • BRAVO!!! ***CLAP-CLAP-CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*** Explained brilliantly! This needs to be heard far and wide.
