I know it sounds like science fiction but one day we will be able to tap the almost unlimited energy that surrounds us. We will be able to use land and ocean and go above and below. Much of the technology already exists so we would not even have to invent those things but the mind set to change our ways is that possible? Even I could figure out a hundred billion so a real challenge is a trillion. Obviously the way we operate the earth now we are close to max but change is in the air.

@Achorian The earth could support a hundred billion people? That would be approx 3500 people per sq mile! There's 57259000.75 sq miles of dry land and of that less then 1/2 is suitable leaving you 28629500 sq miles for your 100 billion population. That's 3493 people per square mile. Each acre would have to produce food for 5.5 people! Forget about trees for wood or toilet paper! Enjoy your poop adobe brick home!Poop would be the new corn and corn the new caviar.... mmmm that's alot of poop!

@TheNWONOW thats why you dont inject the gas into an engine, but use fuel cells to convert the gas to electricity for the car to run on

Ok, Now lets see it run a car. To run an engine on hydrogen you need a 2 to 1 ratio of hydrogen to oxygen. My 3 liter Maxima cruises 65mph at 3000rpm. 3000rpm X 3liters per rev = 9000 liters of fuel air mix per minute. 2/3's of that 9000 liters will need to be hydrogen or 6000 liters per minute so you need 211 cubic feet of hydrogen per minute travelling at 65mph. How much electricity is required to produce 221 cubic feet of hydrogen ? Next response will answer that...
